Town Park is a charming, secluded area located behind the library and serves as the entrance to Elms Primary School. Surrounded by shrubs and large, mature trees, it offers a peaceful setting perfect for picnics or enjoying a book from the library. Recently, we received a grant from BUPA to establish a small orchard with native fruit trees. Please help us take care of the new trees.

Welcome to the new orchard in Town Park.
Our young trees need care to thrive. In return they’ll reward the town with beautiful blossom and delicious fruit. The orchard consists of quince, crab apple, pear, apple and plum.
These trees are very special and an important part of our community. By helping to look after them you’ll be supporting local biodiversity and creating a beautiful green space for everyone to enjoy.
